Ventura Charter School of Arts and Global Education is a tuition-free public school serving over 440 students from Kindergarten through Eighth grade. VCS is an EL Education Network school and has a strong culture of adult learning and a commitment to being a professional learning community. The EL Education model supports leaders to demonstrate a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous professional learning in themselves and all faculty members with a strong focus on equity and social justice. School leaders build capacity in teachers in order to improve student achievement, and to sustain teacher commitment motivation, retention, and performance.

The following positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year:

- Para Educator Position – Special Education, Grades K/1 – Must have an AA. Please submit: classified application, cover letter, resume, and 3 letters of recommendation to lisa.h@venturacharterschool.us
- Para Educator Position – General Education, Grades K/1 – Must have an AA. Please submit: classified application, cover letter, resume, and 3 letters of recommendation to lisa.h@venturacharterschool.us
- Teacher Position – Must have Multiple Subject Credential – Grades 6,7,8 Science and Math Intervention – full time. Please submit the Certificated Application by July 18, 2026 to lisa.h@venturacharterschool.us
- Part Time STEM Specialist Teacher – We are looking for a teacher to teach K-3rd grade STEM classes. A multiple subject credential or 30 day substitute credential is required for this position. 8:00 - 12:30 T/TH. To apply, please fill out the Certified Application Packet.
